Keep the Dust Down

Cutting old concrete is difficult but it need not be dirty – provided you use the right equipment.

In this video Contributing Editor Greg DiBernardo uses a Hilti DCH 300 electric saw to cut a basement slab so he can install a new drain. If you listen carefully, you can hear the thump of the filter-cleaning mechanism in the VC40-U vacuum that the saw is connected to.
