Makita Upgrades Its Lithium-Ion Warranty

If it uses a Lithium-Ion battery, it’s covered. All voltage lines are included in the new warranty.

Effective October 1, 2015, Makita has changed the terms of its Limited Warranty to 3-Years for all Lithium-Ion tools, batteries, and chargers (some accessories are included as well).

As with most tool warranties, Makita points out that repairs, abuse, and other alterations made to the tool, battery, or charger negate the warranty.
