With the recent debut of the M18 Fuel Hackzall, Milwaukee Tool has created the market’s first brushless, 18V one-handed reciprocating saw.
According to Milwaukee Tool, the M18 Fuel Hackzall cuts up to 50% faster than its competitors. Its dual-gear counterbalance system provides up to four times less vibration than most reciprocating saws, allowing for smoother and easier cuts, especially in metal and PVC applications. It features a 7/8-inch stroke length, which, combined with its compact design and one-handed handling, allows its users to make cuts in tight spaces or overhead.
The saw is operated by a Powerstate brushless motor, which is powered by Milwaukee’s RedLithium battery technology. The RedLithium pack delivers more use per charge and over the total life of the battery than competitive battery packs, according to Milwaukee Tool. The built-in RedLink Plus intelligence system protects the saw against overload, overheating, and over discharge, and its rubber seal and weep holes protect against debris. Altogether, according to Milwaukee Tool, these features allow for a tool life three times longer than average.
The M18 Fuel Hackzall is available as a bare tool and blade or in a kit, which also includes a RedLithium battery pack, a multi-voltage charger, and a carrying bag. milwaukeetool.com
