It’s more than a trade show. It’s community.
JLC Live is a barn raising.
I mean, we don’t actually raise a barn. Rather, we come together over the common dedication, love, curiosity, passion, need to pay mortgages better, desire to make new friends, skip town, or whatever reason you have for going.
For those of you who don’t usually attend—and I get it: It’s hard to get away, hotels aren’t cheap—it’s worth the haul in my book.
The live demos are top drawer as are the guys doing them—several of whom you’ll see pop up here in our digital pages.

And we have a tool-a-palooza we call the The Tool Zone. I saw a bit of this from a previous show before I signed on here and it was a frenzy.
Here’s the lineup, as if I was introducing the band.
From the JLC presenters, we have the ever-awesome and deeply knowledgeable Peter Heard (@peter_heard), Mike Guertin (@mike_guertin), and Gary Striegler (@craftsmanbuilders).
On window flashing, we have Matt Risinger (@risingerbuild) and woodworking tips with Jordan Smith (@jordansmithbuilds), both from the Build Show on the YouTube.
We’ll also be rocking some timer framing tips for typical construction with Tim Holton (@jkholton_inc).
Give these guys a follow if you don’t already and come to the Tool Zone. Maybe we won’t raise a barn, but maybe a glass or just a hand shake.
