This video by the New Brit Workshop is pleasant and calm to watch while also being thorough and informative. I’m not allowed on jobsites where track-saw precision is required, so I’ll have to take his word for it that he’s spot-on. He goes into depth—and shoots all this well—on getting the unit parallel with the track, using the paper trick for off-setting the blade, and adjusting the unit into 90 and 45. I also like how he checks his work by cutting, then flipping pieces over to see if they’re dialed in. If you want a primer—or want to share this with someone on your crew who could benefit from it—check out the video.
