What’s Inside a DeWalt FlexVolt Battery?

Canadian contractor Kiefer Limebeck goes inside the FlexVolt to see what makes it tick.

In late June of this year DeWalt announced its FlexVolt tool line as well as its FlexVolt battery packs. The battery packs are the first batteries on the market that switch voltage depending upon the tool. In this video, Canadian carpenter Kiefer Limebeck (known to his 68,000 Instagram followers as @toolaholic) takes apart a FlexVolt pack and looks in on it’s circuit board, fuel cells, and connections while sharing his insights and observations. It’s an interesting exploration further illustrating how far cordless tool technology has come.
