Ryobi 18+ One Drain Auger

I recently saw a Ryobi tool that grabbed my attention, the P4001 cordless drain auger. It resonated with me because at my house a drain seems to get clogged every few months and then it’s out to the garage to get the snake. I have two of them—both hand-cranked—and I hate using the things.

Once the snake is all the way into the pipe I pull it free from the housing, chuck it into a cordless drill, and let the motor do the work. But it would be much nicer to let the motor do the entire thing—which is what the 18V One+ Drain Auger is designed to do.

The Ryobi auger has 25 feet of cable and will clean up to a 2-inch drain—sinks, toilets, tubs, and the like. It’s powered in forward and reverse so it does the work in both directions.
