It’s hard to believe how bad flashlights used to be; they ate batteries, weren’t very powerful, and had bulbs that burned out or stopped working if the unit was dropped. Not so with the better LED flashlights you can get today. This HP7 from Coast is a good example; the manufacturer sent it to me a few years back and I only just now thought to write about it.
