ContractorCalculator is a free app that enables you to calculate and save important calculations in the field. Grab square footage for a flooring estimate or make measurement conversions, among other things. There are trade-specific calculations like amps to watts, drywall footage, roof footage, and wire size calculations too. All on your phone, of course (check out this cool phone mount for the truck).
Once it’s calculated, you can save your work to retrieve later, say for doing the bid or placing a materials order. Compared with flipping pages in a notebook to find out where I wrote down how many deck boards I need, this seems tuned in.
The maker, FieldPulse, says this contractor calculator can help you make assessments in the field, and even ensure business expenses are in order for key projects.
