According to Joel Allen, buying a hand tool from his company might help you kick your drug habit. Well, that’s not exactly how he puts it. In the video below he repeats stories he has heard from construction workers who claim their arm problems (and so – their need to take pain medication) went away after they switched to Stilletto hammers.
It’s entirely believable. I’ve worked with any number of guys whose wrists, shoulders, and elbows got better after switching from steel- to wood-handled hammers. This was before the advent of light-weight titanium hammers like the Stilletto, when wood was the only option.
