The ax is arguably one of our most fundamental tools.
We don’t use them much anymore, but they’re just such beautiful tools and simply knowing about them—kind of like car folks pining away for a Lamborghini in the garage—is a guilty, lizard brain pleasure. This guy seems to have pretty much internalized everything there is to know about axes and he’s, as the internet says, satisfying to watch. There’s some good how-to in there as well. Probably useful if you get deserted on a forest island. NOT useful if you have a recip saw.
