Take Appliances for a Drag

1 MIN READ

As a dragger of heavy items via moving blanket—and moving blanket enthusiast for all kinds of jobsite duties from drop cloths to counter protection—I also use them to drag heavy items when possible.

Until, inevitably, they rip.

The makers of the infomercial famous Forearm Forklift have a new informercial-worthy—and smart-looking—product for moving heavy items around in a house called Glydeez. It’s basically a hard piece of slippery plastic with a handle. But they say it works for appliances, furniture, and heavy boxes. In other words all kinds of stuff. It even has a strap.

It’s 50-bucks, so it’s not nothing, but if you have heavy items to move all the time and don’t have people to move them with you, this may earn a spot behind the seat of your truck.

You can watch a guy tow a washing machine around a house in this video.
