Cool Pants. Duluth Trading Co. says its Fire Hose canvas pants are tougher than most other work pants — but the dense weave can be a bit warm in the summer. The company’s newest midweight version is made with 40 percent CoolMax fibers, which purportedly wick moisture away from the skin better than cotton to keep the wearer drier and cooler.
