Whether you’re shoving it, standing on it, overfilling it, or heaving it into the back of your truck, your toolbox gets as good a workout on the jobsite as you and the tools it carries. The toughest boxes will survive the rough stuff, but everything wears down eventually.
Recognizing this, REMODELING hosted a contest on its Facebook page inviting remodelers to send in photos of their beat-up toolboxes with the chance to win a new one from DeWalt. Much to our surprise, many remodelers aren’t using toolboxes at all, but buckets and cardboard boxes!
The contest winner and runners up are shared here, plus a few sturdier options that are up for a jobsite challenge, including the grand prize DeWalt 24-Inch Tote with Power Tool Case.
