When there鈥檚 no access to juice on site or you鈥檝e cut the power to the kitchen remodel and all electricity is on the other side of your dust barrier, but you want to, say, follow our Instagram feed, you have to keep the device operable to do so.

Klein鈥檚 take on portable power for devices looks pretty cool. And compact. And a smart shape.

The Klein KTB1鈥攑ocket-sized, says Klein鈥攊s designed for every day. The KTB2 integrates a worklight and stand. I like this feature. While the flashlight on my phone works. It does not work well, so I like to have an actual flashlight close by. This one is 170 lumens on high (100 on low). That should be bright enough.

Klein says the units charge essentials such as phones, headlamps, speakers, and fans and that they鈥檙e compact and tough.

Both batteries feature “Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 Technology,” reportedly enabling faster charging than conventional USB charging.

According to Klein, both Portable Rechargeable Batteries feature:
路 USB Type-A with high speed charging powered by Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 Technology
路 USB Type-C with input and output capable of up to 15W
路 Smart battery protection improves battery life and longevity
路 Battery status LED gauge indicates remaining battery life
路 Auto-device detection enables quick, successful connections
路 Rugged exterior for added durability
路 USB Type-C to USB Type-A charging cable included
