More New 20 Volt Max Tools

In addition to a brushless impact driver, DeWalt recently announced several new tools in their 20 Volt Max (18-volt tools) product line.

Unlike the impact driver, these tools feature conventional motors, but all kit versions will come with the new fuel gauge battery.

3/8-inch Compact Impact Wrench

(Available April 2012)

Features: 1,560 in.-lbs. torque, hog ring anvil (socket retainer), three LED headlight.
DCF883L2 kit with two 3.0 A-h batteries ($269), DCF883B bare tool ($129).

1/2-inch Impact Wrenches

(Available June 2012)

Features: 300 ft.-lbs. (3,400 in.-lbs.) torque, variable speed trigger, electronic brake.
With hog ring anvil: DCF889HL2 kit with two 3.0 A-h batteries ($329), DCF889HB bare tool ($169).
With detent pin anvil: DCF889L2 kit with two 3.0 A-h batteries ($329), DCF889B bare tool ($169).

Jigsaw

(Available April 2012)

Features: 0-3,000 spm, four orbital settings, tool-free blade change.
DCS331L1 kit with one 3.0 A-h battery ($279), DCS331B bare tool ($149).

4-1/2-inch Cut-Off Tool

(Available May 2012)

Features: 6,500 rpm, enclosed handle design, tool-free guard adjustment.

5-1/2-inch Metal Cutting Circular Saw

(Available July 2012)

Features: 3,700 rpm, 1 11/16-inch cut depth, LED headlight.
