The Mighty Has Gone Mini

The world’s most versatile and efficient dump trailer gets a sidekick.

1 MIN READ

If you’ve seen one, you already know the Equipter self-propelled dump trailer is the most versatile dump trailer going. Not only is it a dump trailer, but its on-board gasoline engine and second set of tires make it truly mobile. You can park it wherever you want. The other best part is a hydraulic assembly that lifts the bin up to a dizzying height so that you could strip a roof or demo a bathroom right into it, for example. Or deliver materials right up to a second-story deck. See videos, below.

But what about those sites where you can’t maneuver a trailer because of lot issues or a fence or other obstacle?

Now, the big ole Equipter comes in a pipsqueak size. The smaller Equipter RB2000 works mostly like the big Equipter, but it has a 1.13-yard bin versus the 4-yarder of the big boy. It raises material up to 7 feet in the air to dump.

The Mini needs to be towed to the jobsite in another trailer. If you want to make me jealous, you’d tow it there in another Equipter.

Equipters large or small aren’t what you’d call cheap (the big one is about 35k). They’re mainly targeted at roofing contractors, but the efficiency of having one other jobs is obvious if you can keep it busy. And what contractor buddy do you know who wouldn’t want to “borrow” yours for a day or two? By “borrow,” I mean “pay you for.”

Equipter says a large unit pays for itself in a year, allowing contractors dealing with quantities of debris (roofers to be sure) to take on more jobs because of the significant time savings.
