Chromaglass systems are available in seven standard sizes, from 500 to 12,000 treated gallons per day. How it works: Free oxygen is introduced, and aerobic microorganisms clean and clear wastewater of 85 to 95 percent of its suspended solids. Batch treatment, much like the process used in municipal waste-treatment centers, is used. The treatment cycles are timecontrolled and a preset volume of treated effluent is pressure-discharged, allowing for peak surges and requiring less retention time.
